From motion capture to real-time virtual reality
Join us for an exciting workshop hosted by Lund University Humanities Lab, inspired by CREA’s captivating performance of The Ghost of Canterville. This event is perfect for anyone curious about the practical applications of motion capture technology, whether you’re a researcher, engineer, system developer, artist, or involved in theatre productions.
During an intensive afternoon, participants will first get an introduction to how the Humanities Lab uses motion capture technology for research and then try out some of these solutions, as well as discuss areas of application.
Afterwards, we will have some refreshments and then proceed together to enjoy the performance of The Ghost of Canterville (in Swedish). If you do not wish to attend the performance on this occasion, please indicate so when registering for the workshop (see registration link below).
When: 7 February 2025 at 12.00 to 20.15 CET
Where: LU Humanities Lab, LUX, room LUXC121, Helgonavägen 3, Lund Sweden
Language: the workshop will be held in English, but the theatre performance will be in Swedish.
